TobSar integrates with the Facebook Platform to help sellers manage customer conversations on their Facebook Pages. When you connect a Facebook Page to TobSar, we request the following permissions and use them solely as described:

  • pages_show_list — Used to display a list of Facebook Pages that you manage, so you can select which Page to connect to TobSar.
  • pages_messaging — Used to receive incoming customer messages sent to your Facebook Page and to send replies on your behalf. All AI-generated replies are routed through a human review queue where you approve, edit, or reject each message before it is sent.
  • pages_manage_metadata — Used to subscribe your Facebook Page to webhook events so TobSar can receive real-time notifications of new messages.
  • pages_read_engagement — Used to read engagement data from your Facebook Page to provide analytics and performance insights in the TobSar dashboard.

We do not use Facebook Platform data to send unsolicited messages, run advertisements, or share data with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate TobSar. You may disconnect your Facebook Page at any time through TobSar settings or directly through your Facebook account. Upon disconnection, we will delete your Page access token and cease processing new messages.

Our use of data received from Facebook APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Platform Policies.
